The New-Era Wireless (NEW) Lab is with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Southern University. The current research focuses of the NEW Lab include:

    • Performance optimization of vehicle-to-everything (V2X) network

    • Blockchain on V2X network

    • Machine learning for performance optimization of V2X network

    • Shared situational awareness among connected vehicles

    • Coexistence of New Radio (NR)-Unlicensed and WiGig in the 60 GHz band

    • Human electromagnetic field (EMF) exposure in wireless systems
